I’m a Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (141253) in California.

DISCLAIMER:

I am currently unsupervised which means I cannot practice therapy. All inquiries will be forwarded to appropriate referrals until I am working under the supervision of a Licensed Therapist.

I received my training in San Diego, CA after graduating from the University of San Diego’s COAMFTE-accredited marital and family therapy program in 2023. My early work focused on psychosis, navigating trauma, grief, life transitions, and the body’s reaction to stress. I have experience working with those who are vision impaired and blind, neurodivergent, disabled, chronically ill, suicidal, gay, lesbian, transgender, and queer. I have trained in specialized approaches to treat gender dysphoria, psychosis or altered states, PTSD, phobias, depression, and anxiety.

My work is trauma-focused and clients will be assessed for trauma symptoms as trauma often impacts one’s sleep, focus, appetite, relationships, and mental health. Healing might mean going to therapy for a relationship between family members, romantic partners, friends, coworkers, or roommates. Therapy may look like developing tools for nervous system regulation, processing your identities, and nurturing parts of yourself that have been neglected due to trauma and the need for resilience.

As a non-binary and queer person with lived experience in mental health treatment, I believe that your perspective shapes our therapeutic relationship. Your current living situation, your relationships with others, and your thoughts on life will all inform our work together in the life you find worth living.

I was raised in Georgia and I am currently back in my hometown so that I can spend part of my time caregiving for my grandmother, and the other part spending time with my friends, my partner, and our four cats. I love to kayak in local rivers, play board games, listen to indie folk music, make collages, and attempt to quilt.
