You’ve wish someone would care for you the way you’ve cared for others.
What is getting in the way of receiving that care?
You’re here because chronic stress is impacting every part of your life.
We live in a system that uplifts the hustle. We live in families that deny feelings. It’s hard to understand what you’re feeling because you are feeling everything and nothing all at once. Your relationships to others is starting to mimic your relationship to your body and mind: strained. You landed here because you are looking for a place you can feel everything deeply and access emotions again.
Hi! I’m Callista (they/them)
I believe relational therapy is the key to change.
This means that no matter the modality or technical definition or diagnosis, what is most important is how you feel about the relationship between you and I. Therapeutic attunement, or the feeling of understanding and empathy between us can significantly impact therapy. Change often happens when we can make sense of things together, through a supportive, understanding relationship.
Safe relationships are a place to ask for change, for accountability, to set limits, and to connect. We might experience ruptures or emotional stress within the therapeutic relationship, just as we do in every other relationship. Know that this is common, and provides a place to heal. I will not abandon you, yell at you, or criticize you. We will work together to repair, a practice that we are not often taught how to do.
Not only is the therapeutic relationship important, but the ways you then take what we talk about out into your own relationships. You do not exist in a vacuum - the family and community you grew up in often shapes the way you continue to interact with others. As your therapist, I will encourage you to practice what we do in session with your chosen family.

I am queer, nonbinary, and white. I have lived experience in trauma (CPTSD & PTSD), neurodivergence (ADHD & OCD) and disability (Chronic Migraine & Sleep Disorder). That doesn’t mean I’m an expert in your experience, but in my own. I have experience receiving long term therapy, mental health treatment, taking meds, and being hospitalized, which informs the work I do as a therapist.
